Before Your Consultation
Please bring with you any records you have regarding previous vaccinations you’ve had.
This can be any Vaccination cards, local GP records etc.. This will help us to make sure that you get only the vaccinations and medications you need.
How does it work?
- 1. Book a 15-minute consultation with Westbury Chemist
- 2. You’ll speak with an expert travel health consultants on our team and we will advise you on the vaccine(s) you need.
- 3. We will help you book in any vaccine(s) you need before travelling.
The NHS advises that all travel vaccinations are administered at least 2 weeks prior to travelling. This is to allow the antibodies time to develop in order to protect against the potential diseases and viruses you could come into contact with on your travels.
What to expect?
- 1. Our travel health consultant will speak with you about your travels and the type of trip you’re going to take. Eg. a city trip, remote, activities, jungle etc.
- 2. We will then advise you on the vaccine(s) you need based on your destination and the type of trip you’ll be taking.
- 3. We’ll advise you on the food and water sanitation situations in your destination and make you ware of any precautions you should take.
