Start by washing your hands thoroughly.
Unwrap a pessary and dip it in water to ease insertion.
Lie on your back on a bed with your knees bent up and legs slightly apart.
Push the pessary gently into your vagina using your fingers, similar to the way you'd insert a tampon.
Extra comfort during sleep can be achieved by inserting the pessary at bedtime.
Repeat this process once daily, preferably at bedtime.
Continue to use one pessary every day for seven consecutive days, even during your menstrual cycle.
Do not use them if you are trying to conceive, as the gel has a low pH that can make the environment inside the vagina unfavorable for sperm.
Consult your doctor if symptoms persist after completing the seven-day treatment.

6) Not a contraceptive: Balance Activ Pessaries do not provide any protection against sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy.
