To use Bonjela Gel Adult 15g:
Clean your hands and the application area.
Apply a small amount of the gel, approximately 1cm, onto a clean fingertip or cotton swab.
Directly apply the gel to the painful area within your mouth.
Thoroughly massage the gel into the area until it is completely absorbed.
Ideally, do not eat or drink anything for at least 30 minutes after application to allow the product to remain in the application area and work effectively.
Repeat the application every 3 hours if necessary.
Always remember to follow the instructions given in the leaflet or the guidelines from your doctor or pharmacist.

Lidocaine hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride, ethanol (alcohol), glycerol, menthol, hypromellose, sodium saccharin, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, water.

Allergic Reaction: Some people might be allergic to the gel's ingredients; any signs of an allergic reaction, such as rashes, itching, swelling, dizziness or trouble breathing, require immediate medical attention.
Dental Problems: Continual use of Bonjela Gel can lead to dental problems like ulcers or abscesses. It's advised to use the gel sparingly and carefully monitor any changes in your oral health.
Gastrointestinal Effects: Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea could occur. If these persist or worsen, contact your healthcare professional straight away.
Misuse: The gel should only be used for mouth ulcers and not on open wounds or cuts in the mouth.
Possibility of Choking: There is a small risk of choking if the gel is applied to the back of the throat.
Overdose: Excessive use may lead to toxicity, always adhere to the prescribed dosage. Overdose symptoms may include seizures, rapid heartbeat, and severe drowsiness.
Remember to always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new medication.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Bonjela Gel.
Always consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve after seven days.
Avoid contact with eyes and rinse thoroughly with water if accidentally applied.
Not suitable for children below 16 years.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
It should not be used in case of peptic ulcers or diabetes without consulting a healthcare professional.
This product is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless advised by a doctor.
