Open: Rip along the perforation to open the sachet.
Pour: Empty the contents of the sachet onto a spoon.
Administer: Give the medication orally to the child.
Dosage: For children aged 6-12 years, the dose is one to two 5ml spoonfuls (sachets).
For children aged 12-16 years, the dose is two to three 5ml spoonfuls (sachets).
For adults and children over 16, the dose is two to four 5ml spoonfuls (sachets).
Repeat the dose every 4-6 hours as necessary, but do not exceed four doses in any 24 hour period.
Remember: Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Always read the label and use only as directed.
Paracetamol, Maltitol, Sorbitol, Aspartame, E420, E218, E214, E216
Allergic reactions: Seek immediate medical attention if you notice symptoms like difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, rash, or peeling skin.
Gastrointestinal problems: Inform your doctor if you experience discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Blood disorders: Uncommon but serious side effects can be reduction in blood cells that can result in bruising/bleeding, fever, or sore throat.
Kidney problems: Rare but serious side effects can be a disturbance in kidney functions.
Long-term use: Long term, high-dose use might lead to liver damage.
Avoid using Calpol Six Plus with other paracetamol-containing products simultaneously.
Consult a doctor if symptoms persist even after regular dosages.
