Wet the toothbrush lightly.
Apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste onto the brush.
Ask your child to open their mouth.
Starting with the upper back teeth, gently start brushing in a back-and-forth motion.
Repeat this process for each section of the mouth - upper back teeth to front teeth, lower back teeth to front teeth.
Make sure the front and back surfaces of every tooth are brushed, and finish by gently brushing the tongue.
Instruct your child to spit out the toothpaste, and thoroughly rinse the mouth with water.
Rinse the toothbrush and let it air dry.
For optimal oral hygiene, make sure your child brushes their teeth at least twice per day, preferably after breakfast and before bedtime.
