For adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) three to four times a day.
For children 5-12 years: Take one 5ml spoonful three to four times a day.
Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Avoid use if you're allergic to any of the ingredients, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. If you've been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
This medicine is for oral use only, do not take more than the label tells you to. This medicine can make you feel sleepy. If this happens do not drive or use tools or machines. Do not drink alcohol.
If symptoms do not get better after 7 days talk to your doctor.
For best results, this cough syrup should be swallowed slowly and not diluted or mixed with any other fluids.
The 150ml bottle of Covonia should be discarded after 28 days from opening.
Guaifenesin, Levomenthol, Aniseed Oil, Capsicum Tincture, Liquid Glucose, Sucrose, Ethanol, Sodium Metabisulphite, Sodium Cyclamate, Saccharin Sodium.
Allergic reaction: Seek immediate medical attention if signs of allergic reaction occur such as rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or difficulty breathing.
Nausea or Vomiting: If the medicine causes stomach upset or vomiting, consult your doctor.
Drowsiness: This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness, do not drive or operate machinery if you feel affected.
Alcohol: Avoid alcohol as it can increase side effects of the medication.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult a healthcare professional before using Covonia if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
Children: It's not recommended for children below 12 years of age.
