Shake the Phenergan Elixir well before use.
Use the enclosed measuring spoon or cup to ensure accurate dosage.
A typical dose is 5-10 mg, but do not exceed the recommended dose prescribed by your doctor.
This medicine can be taken with or without food.
If used before surgery or procedures, use as directed by your doctor typically the night before the procedure.
If you are using the liquid form for allergic conditions, carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon; take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor.
The effects of this medication can last for up to 6 hours, and you should not take more than the recommended dose in a 24-hour period.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's closer to the time of your next dose.
Never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Promethazine Hydrochloride 5mg/5ml, Hydrogenated Glucose Syrup, Ascorbic Acid, Ethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Metabisulfite, Sodium Sulfite, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid, Orange and Peach Flavour, Water.
Allergic Reactions: Some people may have allergic reactions including rash, itching/swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing.
Drowsiness: It may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how Phenergan affects you.
Alcohol Interaction: Avoid alcohol as it may increase the sedative effect.
Elderly Patients: Increased risk of side effects in the elderly, especially confusion, drowsiness, dizziness, and low blood pressure.
Children: Not recommended for children under 2 years due to potential for fatal respiratory depression.
Pregnancy: It should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risks.
Breastfeeding: It passes into breast milk and may harm a nursing infant.
Always take this medication as directed by health care professional. In case of any unwanted side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
