Shake the bottle well before each use.
Measure the dose using the provided measuring cup or device, do not use a household spoon.
This medication can be taken with or without food.
The usual dose is 10 ml (equivalent to two teaspoons), every 4 hours.
Do not take more than 6 doses in a 24-hour period.
Drink plenty of water after taking the medication to help loosen the mucus in the lungs.
Do not exceed the recommended dose or use this product for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor.
Rinse the measuring device with warm water after each use.
Remember, if your symptoms persist or worsen, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Guaifenesin, Dextromethorphan HBr, USP
May cause drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, stomach upset, nausea, or headache.
Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing may occur.
Avoid consuming alcohol, as it can increase the risk of side effects.
Do not exceed the recommended dose without medical advice.
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you feel drowsy or dizzy.
Consult a doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days or if you have fever, rash, persistent headache, or persistent cough.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Avoid usage if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless directed by a doctor.
Do not use in children under 12 years.
Do not take more than the recommended dose.
Avoid driving or operating machinery as it can cause drowsiness.
Consult a doctor if cough persists for more than a week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headaches.
Avoid using concurrently with alcohol or other sedative drugs.
Do not take other medicines containing guaifenesin or a cough suppressant.
Stop usage and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or if new symptoms occur.
