Generally, it is recommended to take 2 tablets of Senokot at bed time with plenty of water or liquids.
Swallow the tablets whole. Do not split, chew, or crush them.

Do not use this medication for more than 7 days unless directed by your doctor.

Allergic Reaction: Seek medical help if you experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Dehydration: Prolonged use can cause dehydration due to excessive bowel movements. Maintain a healthy water intake.
Electrolyte Imbalance: Excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalance. Report any unusual muscle weakness, slow/irregular heartbeat, or confusion to your doctor.
Rectal bleeding/Blood in stools: Consult a doctor immediately if this occurs.
Abdominal pain/cramping: This could indicate an unexpected medical condition. If severe or persistent, seek medical help.
Prolonged Use: Use only as directed by your doctor, using it longer than recommended can result in dependence or loss of normal bowel function.
Remember, Senokot is intended for short-term relief of constipation. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
