Sudafed Decongestant Liquid should only be taken orally.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take two 5 ml spoonfuls every 4-6 hours, up to 4 times a day.
Children 6-12 years: Take one 5 ml spoonful every 4-6 hours, up to 4 times a day.
Children under 6 years: Not recommended.
Ensure to leave at least 4-6 hours between doses, and do not take more than 4 doses in any 24 hours. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Always read the label and take only as directed.
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, liquid glucose, sucrose, ethanol, glycerol, sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, raspberry essence, caramel (E150), carbomer, ponceau 4R (E124), sodium hydroxide, purified water.
Allergic reactions: If you notice symptoms like rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, difficulty breathing, seek medical help immediately.
Insomnia and Anxiety: This medication could cause sleep problems and anxiety in some individuals.
High blood pressure: Sudafed can increase blood pressure, so those with hypertension should use it with caution.
Heart issues: If you have heart problems, consult your doctor before using Sudafed as it can increase heart rate.
Kidney problems: Those with kidney diseases should use this medication with caution as it could exacerbate the condition.
Interactions with other drugs: Sudafed can interact with other drugs and supplements, so provide your doctor a complete list of medications you are currently taking before starting Sudafed.
Remember, always follow the prescribed dosage and consult your healthcare provider in case you experience any adverse reaction.
